Gálik Branislav
Prof. Ing. Branislav Gálik, PhD. is the Head of the Institute of Nutrition and Genomics as a Full Professor. His professional orientation is non-ruminant nutrition (with a special preference in horses and poultry). In this field, he has been interested in feed science and diversity, as well as feed additives and feed utilization. He has also been dealing with feed additives from the environmental point of view. Currently, his research focuses on the nutritional potential of different by-products of the agro-food industry in livestock nutrition, as well as insects used as alternative protein source in animal nutrition. As author and co-author, he has published more than 60 papers in journals indexed in databases Web of Science and/or Scopus.
