Rolinec Michal
Doc. Ing. Michal Rolinec, PhD. works at the Institute of Nutrition and Genomics of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (Slovak Republic) as an Associate Professor. His professional orientation is non-ruminant nutrition, esp. swine nutrition, colostrum quality, antimicrobial resistance of bacteria and nutrition of companion animals. In those fields, he has been interested in the nutritional and immunological quality of colostrum and milk, and the passive immunisation of the neonates. Currently, he researches the effects of nutrition on the gastrointestinal microbiome of animals and the use of insects in animal nutrition, as a part of milk-replacers for animals. As author and co-author, he has published more than 39 papers in journals indexed in the Web of Science and/or Scopus databases.
