Zábranský Luboš

Ing. Luboš Zábranský, PhD. works at the Department of Animal and Husbandry of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (Czech Republic) as Assistant Professor. His professional orientation is ruminant nutrition (with a preference in dairy calves). He is interested in feed science and diversity, as well as feed additives and their utilization. For a long time, he has been researching feed additives from the environmental point of view. Actually, he solves the improvement of health and nutrition through synbiotic feed additives in dairy calves and the improvement of feed conversion and growth gains in fattening chickens, using environmentally friendly antibiotic-free feed additives. As author and co-author, he has published 12 papers in journals indexed in databases Web of Science or Scopus, is a co-author of 4 patents, and is researcher or co-researcher of 5 grants granted by the National Agency for Agricultural Research.
